Bought this as a Christmas present for the whole family. Was worried it might not come on time but it came on Christmas Eve! Easy to assemble and love the different color. Most of these chairs come in dark brown or black. Since we put it together, we have go around at least 2 times already among 4 of us just for one day. I am a 5 feet, small to medium built woman so a few features I was not able to benefit from, like the shoulder, the hip and the neck. But the leg, foot and back are awesome! I still enjoy it! Some review said theirs did not work within a short time. Hope it was just a misfortunate for them. With the price of this, I would recommended this product!

This is a chair I was looking for for a long time, it is not too expensive but it serves my needs in relaxing and massaging my body. The rollers for the back are extremely helpful, I also like the heat for the legs which helps relaxing my muscles and the airbags for the legs are good too. It is also very easy to put it together, it only takes us less than an hour to assemble it. The chair is also not too huge that can fit into our space. Love it very much. One thing I hope can improve is that the airbags for the neck and shoulders. Since I am a small person, the rollers for the neck are too high for me and can not reach my neck so as the airbags for the shoulders, they can not reach my shoulders. Other than that, this is a great chair that I had been thinking about for years and I am glad that I am able to get it this time. Thanks, Jessica

The traditional gift for your 13th wedding anniversary is lace. Finely crafted and intricate, lace is the perfect fabric to represent the finer points of your marriage. It shows how intertwined your lives have become and makes a beautiful memento… This is exactly why my husband ordered this massage chair to celebrate our wedding anniversary. It may not be lace – but it is a great value for the price. Even though there was a short shipping delay – the chair actually showed up on our big day. It was easy to assemble and fit in our room (pulled away from the wall to allow for reclining). The chair allows for a customized massage with speed and pressure – as well as the ability to work automatically. The ONLY reason this chair is not a five star purchase is because I would love to have had a full neck massage component as well – instead of airbags on the shoulder area. The chair has definitely paid for itself already and it’s only been here a week. Great price – good value – would recommend.

This is a good massage chair. Had it for over a month now. The rollers are a bit hard and takes some time to get used to. I have to keep a thin blanket and it solves the problem. There was an issue with bluetooth but customer service was very good. Responded quickly and helped figure it out. Overall after a month of using almost daily it definitely feels like it was worth the purchase. 4 star.

I got this massage chair during the pandemic since we can’t go to any spas. This chair was absolutely the right choice and the money was well spent! The set up was completely user friendly but it did take me few days to get familiar with the chair operations. The massage chair massages your neck, your shoulder, your back and your foot with a heating function. If you are looking to relax after a hardworking day, look no else where.

We got this chair for my mom and she absolutely loves it! My mom is the kind of person who rarely sits and rests so she mainly has back issues, but this chair helps her so much and we actually find her resting more. For the price this chair is excellent and it was easy to assemble. It did come in two shipments though which was odd because we originally only got 1 tracking number, but the second half came the next day. Other than that we’d highly recommend this chair.

I am literally writing about this chair while getting massage its really an amazing experience. I am very happy with purchase. The product came in very convenient and safe packing. It was very easy to installed just to tight two screws and connect few wires and thats it you ready for your trip to cosmos. It have built in function of Bluetooth speakers, you can connect any Bluetooth enabled device and there you go having fun of massage and relaxing music altogether. I would really recommend this zero gravity massage chair its actually worth spending money on your comfort.

This chair Great, my Mom suffers for neck and back pain visiting the Chiropractors often. She said the chair is very similar to the one in the Chiropractors office. She is currently using it daily now for a week and feels great after a long day of work. The chair provides her a total body massage. We have seen others chairs like this but they were all $3,000 plus in cost. This chair is Mom approved and recommended.

I have waiting and wanting this chair. My husband bought this for me an early Xmas gift. I had my son in law and granddaughter assembled for me. They did it in 20 mins up and running . It got almost everything I want. When I said almost means missing the motion or massage around the thigh area. Also, if your shoulder is not wide enough, the pressure from the shoulder does not compress too well. But the bottom foot massage is a heaven and the strength is good enough. The gravity will make the strength stronger. So I m very happy with this chair

ARMREST SCREWS ARE ACTUALLY BOLTS. I finally figured out after reading reviews that the chair manual is incorrect and the wheel bolts go into armrest. The customer service was quick and the overall experience putting the chair together was easy. If it wasn’t for the confusion over the armrest screws , I would have given the chair 5 stars. The rollers could be better in the shoulder area ( I’m 5’10). I’m satisfied with purchase overall.
ECOgurl –
Note: It came in two huge packages and not on the same day so don’t be alarmed thinking you only got half a product. I rang customer service and they were quick to respond to tell me that the second shipment was on the way.It was easy to put together and it looks so nice. I like the design of this. I tried all the settings and for shorter people you may have to sit on a pillow or two to really feel it in the neck and shoulder otherwise it will be on your head. I do wish is had a little padding as this is not a chair that you sit for hours and watch tv or fall asleep in but it serves the purpose it was bought for.The price was great! And I would recommend this chair.
Bjudo –
I purchased this chair primarily for relaxation rather than therapeutic purposes. The chair itself is fairly (> 130 lbs) so it is helpful to have someone work with you to set it up. A tip is to unpack everything side by side simply because the air connection tubes (color coded) connect with the side panels of the chair, which was not immediately apparent. The instructions appear to be WRONG in at least one cases where it involves attaching the side panels to the chair. The instruction manual (and online video) shows what appears to be a tapered screw with a screwdriver. My chair arrived with an allen wrench and hex bolts. After some examination, the bolts will fix the side panels to the main body of the chair. A bolt had the wheels already secured (instructions stated to secure wheels with bolt). I am not sure if I received an outdated manual, but was able to complete the assembly.Once assembled, the chair is comfortable and it able to be adjusted to operate on auto with rollers and airbags or one can customize what area of the body you wish the chair to work on.The chair is comfortable and works otherwise as described in the manual, so it is certainly a reasonably good purchase.

This is the first massage chair that I have ever owned. I have had both upper and lower back pain for several years due to a motorcycle accident in my early 20’s. I read the reviews on this chair and on others before deciding on the Real Relax. I like The features on this chair and ease of setup. It only took about 20 minutes for assembly. The chair does come in 2 separate boxes. It took 4 days between receiving the first box and getting the second so be patient. The leg compression air bags are very strong, which for some may seem to be too powerful. I think it is just right. The deep tissue massage is also very strong but can be reduced by using a cushion in between your back and the chair. Since getting the chair about 2 weeks ago, my back pain has dropped dramatically and the need for pain meds has dropped as well. I use the chair every day. My wife also enjoys the deep tissue massage offered by this chair. The only regret I have is not getting the chair sooner! I am very pleased with this chair and would highly recommend it to anyone with back problems.

I purchased this chair as a birthday gift for my mom. My mom is recently started chemo and complained of leg pain for approximately 5 days after her infusion. I’ve searched numerous chairs prior to choosing this one. This chair is beautiful on the eyes, affordable and works as described. The reviews for this chair does nothing for my actual experience. My immediate family of 4 generations loves and enjoys this chair. My mother thanked me over and over for a gift she can really use.I live in a 3 family house. My brother and flipped 1 box upstairs by turning over and over. He was able to carry the other box.Putting the chair together was a breeze. Easy to follow instructions.I have no complaints.I’m so pleased.Shondelle

I purchased this for my husband. Upon opening we noticed a broken wheel, clearly caused by shipping as the box was dented-deeply. No worries easy fix right? Then we noticed a broken zipper that is used to attach the chair pad to the chair itself. Not an easy fix as it would require a professional seamstress to replace the zipper. The company was quick to respond and offered monetary compensation on several levels but not enough to cover the costs of taking this chair to a seamstress. In the mean time the remote would intermittently stop working or start beeping out of the blue. In the end I was sent a new chair (not the arms) and this one seems to be doing fine except for occasionally the remote just keeps beeping for no reason. But I’d have to say the chair DOES do a great job!

The chair arrived in two boxes, on two separate days, which I found odd. Either way, it arrived a few days early. The larger of the two boxes will need two men, or one strong very man with a dolly, to move. The assembly took me about an hour. There are 6 air pump tubes to connect and 3 or 4 other wires to connect. Pretty easy. I had a little bit of trouble aligning the last screw that attaches one of the arms. I finally, after quite a bit of finagling (and some cursing) got it to cooperate. The assembly manual (which is quite minimal) was clearly written by someone who speaks English as a secondary language. It was rife with misspellings and syntax issues. But it was still somewhat helpful and clear. Now the chair. It’s great. The zero gravity feature is incredible. I fell asleep in eight minutes. This chair massages and squeezes every inch of you and it does it well. The massage intensifies as you move the chair into the zero-gravity position and your body weight is on top of the massaging units. The other thing I like about the chair is that it is rather quiet. We tested it by turning it on while watching a movie. It doesn’t compete with it, nose wise. The only unknown factor is durability. So far, a GREAT value and product. Loving this chair so far!

The chair came was to arrive between 6 and 12 January. On 2 January it was at our garage door. It took 2 of us to get it into the house.Set up was easy there were 3 electric plugins to be plugged in 6 air hoses and one power cord and 2 screws it took all of about 10 -15 minutes to put together. I think anyone can do it with ease. The chair is a massage chair and not meant to be set in for more than 30 minutes. It is comfortable but if you are in if for more than 30 minutes it can be come uncomfortable. Both my wife and i tried it today and yesterday. The first time i set it for 10 minuets and it was way to short of a time. The remote is easy to use but you do need to experiment with it to figure out what it does.My wife likes the balls on here feet as they spin around.I had done my research and saw about 20% of he people had some issues. I attribute many of them to unrealistic expectations. I went to one of the local stores to see what they had to offer and new what to expect. To me the neck area was weak so I simply moved the padding and it improved it significantly. The waist portion for my wife was a little intense so we added a blanket around the area there. Both my wife and are are big about 250 lbs. We had some difficulty getting are arms into the arms compression area. If you know what to expect and have done your homework you will find it is good fore what it is designed to be used for. As I have read issues of not working after a few uses i will get back with you in about 3 months or if something goes bad.Overall I am very satisficed with the chair anticipate usage of up to 1 hour per day. half an hour by me and half by my wife.

Pretty good for overall massage and relaxation, especially for the money. Not quite as good as chairs costing 3 to 4 times as much, but what do you expect? I was hoping the back rollers would have more coverage, but they do not have any up and down travel. There are hip, back, and shoulder/neck rollers that are independent and fixed in one area. They are all just a little off for where I would like them. The remote could use a backlight and more intuitive controls. My favorite is the airbags on the calves. Wish foot base extended another inch or 2.
Joe Moore –
I’ve had this chair for about a month now and use it everyday. It was easy to assemble and not to heavy to move around. It ships in 2 boxes, the main chair in one and the arms in the other. It was really easy to assemble, just plugged in 2 air hose and the main power connector. The arms are held in by a large screw, you may need an extra person to help hold the arm in the proper position while you screw it in. Overall I am very happy with this purchase. I really like the air compression and foot massager. With gyms closing off their massage equipment and for sanitary reason was the main reason I ended up purchasing this chair. The downsides to this chair as most have said the lower back rollers can be a little rough and if your shorter you have issues with the shoulder rollers being a little to high, you can fix these issues by sitting on a pillow or folded blanket.
Vyper33 –
This massage chair has been great. The chair came in very large boxes however the assemble was very easy. My 9 year old son and I were able to move to our living room and put it together. It works really well and has a lot of features including heated seat. It has both preset massage cycles and manual adjustments in terms of intensity and body locations. It also has Bluetooth speakers built in so you can connect your smart phone to play relaxing music while you get your massage.
Noah S. Newcomer –
What I like most about this chair is all the different ways that you can program it. It comes with several preset massages, but you can also create many different combinations of body parts, durations, intensities, positions and optional heated massages from your neck to your feet. The zero gravity position is my favorite. I enjoy using it at the end of each day to relax and unwind. I also like that it has speakers, which are of decent quality, that connect to my phone through blue tooth, so I can listen to my favorite tunes, as I let the chair do its work. The minor convenience concerns that I have are that I wish the controller had a longer cord (they do have an app for your phone to control the chair, but to date I have not been able to get it to work with my chair). The lower back rollers can dig in a little bit for my liking, but some may like how deep it massages, however I have found a small 1-inch thick throw pillow helps. Finally, make sure you note the height limit; 6 foot, and weight limit: 400 pounds. I am 6.1 foot and I would say that if I was any taller this chair would not fit comfortably.I did a lot of research and this model rated near the top of almost every list, due to the number of features and price. When I had a question and emailed the company, they returned my email within 24 hours. I would say the chair is worth your time and investment.
Ann M –
It took a long time to arrive but its a good product overall. I would like it better if the chair had stronger head rollers and less intense lower back ones. I got a very sore lower back from them but if you sit a bit out it works better. Really good chair for fluffy and tall people.I would also like to have seen a vibrate feature on it.. the heat works well and loved the bag pressure. I also would like to be able to change intensity level in auto mode but u can’t. Overall, well worth it.

Overall this is a good massage chair (a 4.5*).I have tried some of the cheaper ones which are not very great.Of course you can expect it to be similar to a human giving a massage.Assembly/set-up: The product comes in 2 boxes and is pretty easy to set up. Just two screws which are provided.Comfort as a chair: You can sit on it comfortably. You might want to put a pillow behind (so the rollers dont bother you) and it becomes a very comfortable and relaxing chair. Also looks pretty cool.Massage review:Pros:* There are enough of rollers for the back and they go reasonably wide that it hits the scapula which I love.* The heating for the seat is great (However, I dont think there is a way to control how hot you want it).* The compression through airbags for the calf is pretty good.Cons:* Even though the description says it is for people 6ft tall, I would say it is for 5′ 10″. I am 6ft tall and I think it is a couple of inches small for me (I move and adjust myself to get it right).* The airbags for arms and shoulders are not nearly as strong as I would want them (May be because I am a bit skinny for the chair.).* The remote has a lot of buttons, but hard to understand what the modes are. The display doesnt exactly tell you what it is.

So I asked my husband for a foot massager for my birthday and this is what I got, lol. It looks like a transformer in the picture but I guarantee it is much more attractive in my living room. We were also a little worried because of the price being lower than others, but that turned out to be a bonus as this chair is worth every penny. I was really surprised at how much I do ‘love’ this chair. I honestly can’t say enough about it, it massages well, all over, including my feet. I can keep it in relax mode and just chill watching TV. So far the experience has been great, and it has been almost six months.

My husband has wanted a massage chair for a long time. I always thought they were too expensive and not worth it. I found this and after reading other reviews, i decided to get it for him for xmas. I was thinking well it won’t be the best but its something. I was wrong. This chair is amazing. It does your whole body. It reclines for zero gravity and has heat. It also vibrates. There are air bags that work on your arms and feet. Your feet also have rollers for the bottom and the foot holder extends if you are taller. the chair itself is comfortable and there are different choices for your back and neck from minimum to maximum. Its the perfect experience and this is nicer than a massage chair you would find at the mall.
Satisfied with Purchase –
I am excited about my new massage chair. It was actually delivered earlier than stated. The box was beat up so I was scared that it might be damaged, but to my surprise, everything was in tack. I always feel tense and stressed in my muscles so that is why i wanted the chair. My body is also very tender, so I can’t have too much hard pressure against my legs and arms without it hurting or causing brusing. This chair is perfect because it has airbags that press up against my thighs and calves and shoulders and it is not too much hard pressure. That is what I love most about the chair. The rollers on the back and buttock area are also great. I wish that I could feel the massage rollers more in the neck area. I can bearly feel anything there and that is another problem area for me. When I turn on the heat, I only feel it on my calves but it is also supposed to be on the back and I can’t feel any heat there, and I am not sure why yet. I also would have liked for the chair to have more options for different types of massages such as kneading etc, but for the price of this chair, I can understand that it only has the features it has. The price is great though for what you get. These are the few reasons why I didn’t give 5 stars, but this is a great asset and I would definitely recommend it to others. It relieves the tenseness and stress of my muscles other than my neck area, so it serves most of the purpose that I purchased it for.
Jill A Curnutt –
The massagers on this is very rough almost to the point of painful. I had to use a memory foam mat on the back to buffer the full effect which does help . Also disappointed that the neck massager only gets the back of my head. Also no neck/shoulder help which is where most of my tension is from a desk job. I wouldn’t have purchased it if I had been able to try it out first.

This is our first massage chair. We tested several massage chairs at Costco, Sams, and any other opportunity we had. All seemed fine, but way more money than I wanted to spend, especially because I wasn’t sure it would be that thing that use it first week, then forget about it.Well, it’s been more than 3 weeks and the entire family is still enjoying it very much. Some improvements I would like to suggest to the manufacturer:1) Change the programing, so it doesn’t go back to initial state automatically after it’s finished. The reason is that I sometimes fall asleep on it while it’s doing the massage, and the return from the incline to upright position wakes me up. :-)2) I only found out by accident that the length of the feet is spring loaded and adjustable. At first, I thought the chair was just for really short people. Until I found out the feet adjust. Maybe document that better, and use lighter springs.3) I would love a version with rollers on shoulders and legs, instead of the air bags. But I understand that it would be a totally different design. Just keep that in your design idea bucket.Overall great chair, and a great bang for the buck.

(1) I started have electric massage chair since I was 50. during past 30 more years, I changed 4 different models for better features. the price I paid was $2500 to $3500, this model I paid $900(2) I always have the technique serviceman to installed the chair, but during the pandemic, my husband decided to assemble himself, in 40 min, every thing was well done. (3) the auto icon is nice, also the special need icons is wonderful(4) the chair is very comfortable. only complain, is I am 5.6 feet tall and 134 pound, the neck massage is not reachable to me, I am too short and too thin?

My wife and I are both teachers and with massage parlors being a bit of a taboo these days, we were in desperate need for stress relief. I’ve used artificial massage devices in the past and usually ended up more nauseated than anything else. The Real Relax 2020 Massage Chair has been the answer we’ve been looking for! On a budget, we didn’t want our first experiment in massage chairs to run us up into the ‘decent deposit on a car’ range… and, just under a grand, we felt we were giving it a good chance to be decent (a starter chair, if you will) without breaking the bank. It’s been money well spent! Lots of good power for the lower back and excellent pressure from the airbags. If I could complain at all, it would be that I want that ‘hug’ to last longer… like indefinitely. =}Was VERY easy to put together but is a heavy chair. Be forewarned… it’s solid. Needed my wife to assist in taking the base up the stairs but was able to easily roll it into our room and assemble it by myself thereafter. Looking forward to hopping back on it once the school day ends! =D

I’m in the chair right now, and I’ve been using it every day since I got it. I was nervous about buying one so cheap (compared to others), but I did my research on google. I’m really happy with this!My only room for improvement with the chair itself is that I feel that it puts too much pressure on my lower back. Like, there needs to be a little more padding there. There’s a kind of ‘pocket’ there, and I stuffed a thin pillow in there. All better ever since. I would also say to minimally use the max setting on the airbag pressure for the arms. It felt ‘too much’ and my arms felt trapped. I would like even more automated programs or programmable settings, but… that would cost an extra grand, I’m sure :)I

I have been wanting a sit down massage chair for a long time. Researched and researched and this affordable and good looking massage chair came up. I like the brown color as it mostly goes with the colors of the furniture in my room. I’ve looked at many massage chairs and especially the ones they have at Costco but have never been able to want to cough up $5-$10K for a state of the art massage chair. I have been using this chair for many nights and is very satisfied with the massage it gives me to relieve a lot of the pressure in the back of my head. When I first started the rollers on the back did not feel so great but I have since gotten used to it so for me it is fine now. This massage chair is mostly a rolling motion, I do wish it also had a light pounding motion also but I guess that would mean spending thousands more. A warning also you will receive 2 boxes and may receive it in separate UPS orders. I was so worried about them forgetting to send me the second box but it came the next day and set up was a breeze. Overall I think it is a great chair for the price.

I really like the back and waist roller. The rollers “hit” the “right” spot compared to the one my friend has from another company. The calf airbags is amazing, and so is the feet roller. Definitely better than another brand I have tried. However, the chair is a bit big for someone at 4″11 in height. I can still make it work, but it would be great if it fits me better. But for the price, it is good enough. It should be noted that due to my height and size, I was not able to benefit from the shoulder airbag and the buttock airbag since I don’t fit fully in the chair. For the arm airbag function, it is not as tight as I would like it to be. If it can be tighter, it would be great, but I turned it up to maximum strength already. The calf airbags are great when used alone, but when used in conjunction with other airbags, it would not get as tight.Overall, for the price, the chair is great. My mom and dad love it. My mom said that she feels a difference on her legs, which has been aching for awhile.

Love this item! It arrived in two large boxes. Hiewigo did a great job of communicating exactly when it would arrive so that we could be home. Assembly was very easy and took about 20 mins. I love that this chair has so many automatic options as well as the ability to choose manual settings. I was pleasantly surprised to find that both the lags and back have heat. If I had one complaint, it would be that the lower back is little bit too intense- this is easily solved by adding a thin folded blanket on the back of the chair. Overall, this is a great buy and looks like it will last for many years.

Got this December 2019 as a shared Christmas present with my significant other. Of course we were a little scared to buy online, but it turned out to be a great deal. We love it. Was easy to put together. Came in two separate boxes that arrived on different days, which didn’t bother us. It is heated, which was an absolute must for me. The strong setting is VERY strong, but there are several less severe settings. We recommend it.

I’ve had the chair for almost 2 weeks now. I have used it everyday, sometimes twice a day, each for 30 minutes. The chair is comfortable and it looks really good. Even though it’s not real leather, it still looks and feels great. The massage the chair provides does a great job. There are 2 modes, kneading and pushing. And you can control which mode you want or if you want a mix. I love the heat and the vibration too. All around, it’s a great chair for the price. Great value. I feel so much better from having the chair. Several aches and pains I’ve had over the last few years seem to melt away, and I feel better the next day. I believe this chair provides comparable massage to higher priced chairs. I love the different preprogrammed modes too. Relaxing, Strong, Mild, and Sleep. They are all as they suggest. Some days I want Strong and other days I want Relaxing or Mild. I like the various modes being available. I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because I am a little tall, 6’2″, and the head rest with the neck rollers doesn’t line up perfectly. Also, I think the higher priced chairs would allow the rollers to be moved up or down your spine based on your height and alignment. The rollers are positioned in the backrest but cannot be shifted higher or lower to lineup with your spine or focus on problem areas. But if you want all of the bells and whistles, then you’ll need to buy the higher priced chair. One good thing is that the leg assembly does lengthen to allow for people with longer legs. I’m very happy with this purchase, I’m glad I did, and I feel better.

This product shipped very fast and very easy to assemble. The size of the box is well calculated, it is exactly 2 inch less than a regular front door. So we had no problem moving it inside. (we thought we had to open the box outside and move each piece inside). The item is easy to assemble too, manual is very easy to read, took us less than 10 minutes to get it ready. The massage function is also great, it covers all your body, foot, leg, thigh, waste, arm, shoulder and back. The only issue would be the shoulder massager is too wide for skinny people. Also there is a rotating back massage around the back of waste, arond (L4 area), it is pretty powerful, and that part of the spine had no muscle around, so it was little painful. Once I figured out how to turn it off, there was no problem. All in all, it was a great product!

My wife and I have considered a massage chair for our home for ten years now but could never bring ourselves to spending thousands of dollars for one sight unseen in case it didn’t fit our body size. I’m 5’9″ and she is 5’2″. Both of us are medium build with a little “fluff”. She enjoys deep tissue massages and I enjoy them less intense. Her birthday and Mother’s Day are coming up so I decided I’d look into a chair from google, not my local Costco. After searching ‘Massage Chairs” this chair kept coming up as the best bang for your buck with the best reviews. I think I read through every review and looked at every photo in order to make my own best decision. I slept on it for a few days and decided to pull the trigger. Here is my honest review. The chair was delivered via FedEx on one of their regular trucks (UPS Style box truck), it was in two boxes, the side walls in one smaller pretty light weight box and the main chair in the second one which was VERY heavy. The heavy box with the chair in it was fairly damaged with a couple of holes punched into the side of it but upon further inspection, we found that no damage had occurred to the chair. I had it delivered to my work (so I could surprise my wife later) and it took two guys to load it into the bed of my pick-up truck. I made sure to take a hand truck home with me in order to get it into the house. When I arrived home, I brought my wife out and showed her what I had bought for her and she told me to send it back, it was too much (thinking I must have spent thousands on it); however, when I told her the price she quickly reconsidered and then couldn’t wait to get it into the house and set up. Fortunately I had the hand truck so was able to get it into the living room (it’s home) fairly easily.I used a box cutter to cut the tape on the top flaps of the box and then opened the lid, I was greeted with a thin sheet of pliable wood, almost like balsa wood but a bit heavier. I pulled that out and set it aside. Then there were four folded over pieces of cardboard on each corner to protect the corners, two of them pulled right out but the other two were stuck so I left them in place for now. The chair back is attached to the base but it comes folded down, forward onto the seat. It was at this point I didn’t know how I was going to get this thing out of the box. There are no instructions to explain this but I tried to use my past experience with items like this. I noticed the base of the box was a separate piece so it appeared that the upper main walls and lid flaps were meant to separate from the base and pull up and off, but I could not figure out for the life of me how to do this. I cut the tape connecting the top to the bottom but this did nothing. I finally decided to just go ahead and cut down all four corners to allow the sides to fall open. This was successful and it allowed me to remove the other two corner protectors and then slide the chair out onto the floor. The chair came with a type of plastic bag over it and was easy to remove. I then opened the second box and pulled out the two side wall pieces and removed them from their bags. After moving all the cardboard stuff to the side I was ready to tackle assembly.I slid the chair near its final resting place and found and opened the small box containing the instruction manual, two wheels, 4 hex bolts, hex wrench and power cord. I then inspected the chair, remote and side walls for any damage, everything was fine except one of the brackets that the wheels attach to were partially pinched shut preventing the wheel from fitting between the two brackets for install. This is hard metal with no signs of something causing the damage and no paint missing or scratches so it must have occurred during the manufacturing process before it was even painted? Fortunately this was nothing a hammer and some light, careful tapping couldn’t fix. I proceeded to insert the plastic wheels and a hex bolt in each one securing them in place. Next, I unfolded the chair back to its upright position and it clicked into a latching mechanism to hold it in place. Next I brought over the side walls and set leaned them against each side of the chair. This allowed me to attach 3 color coded air hoses to each other and a wire connector. This is done to both sides the same. I then attached the side walls to the chair using a peg slot on the top and the bottom just rests on the outer frame of the base of the chair, super easy. Next I came around to the front of the chair and lifted up the seat and back padding in order to connect another wire plug. At this point I also inserted a hex bolt into each of the side walls to hold them in place. After this I laid everything back down and this completed the chair assembly process. Recap – attach wheels, connect 6 color coded hoses, connect 3 wires by their snap together connectors, attach sidewalls and then plug it in. Not too bad at all.The corded remote has a hardened plastic shrink wrap covering it to help protect it during transport as it is freely bouncing around in the box during transport. I removed the plastic and powered it on. Here are each of our experiences in the chair. My wife is 5’ 2″ with a short torso. The upper neck/shoulder rollers are right at the back of her head, not neck at all. She has to place a small flat pillow over these to avoid pain these were causing her head. Next down her back are rollers at her lower back and then another set at her tailbone area. Theses are connected to each other and are on a hinge so the two sets can teeter totter depending on how you lay against them, i.e. more pressure against the upper rollers the bottom really digs into your tail bone area and vice versa. The bottom rollers ended up causing a lot of pain like bruising so we moved the Velcro attached head rest pad down to cover the lower back rollers. This helped tremendously. The shoulder, hip, arm, calf airbags all worked properly and yes, the calf airbags can be intense but deflate rather quickly only applying pressure for a couple of seconds at a time. The hip and shoulder bags did not do much for either of us, they inflate but don’t really put much pressure on either of us like the calf and arm bags do. The heat feature was felt in the calf area but not so much in the lower back area. It works but just not as hot. All the rollers are fixed and can be turned off and on in manual mode and rotation speed can be adjusted. There are no other roller ball adjustments available for this price range of chair. When I sat in the chair, the neck rollers sat properly at the base of my neck; however, they don’t ‘dig’ in enough for my taste. I even tried removing the headrest cushion, it helped but still not enough pressure. Everything lined up just fine otherwise but those lower tailbone rollers were way to intense. It was causing such pain that I moved the pad down to cover them and that seemed to help a little. I cannot put the chair in zero G position as the weight of my body put too much pressure on those lower rollers…ouch. You may have noticed I haven’t mentioned the foot rollers. Well, these did not work (at first). We tried everything we could to troubleshoot this problem and then at one point they came on for about 30 seconds during a session with my wife and then they died. Everything else was working fine so we figured it couldn’t be the one fuse this unit has so it must be a disconnected wire or short somewhere. I’m pretty good at tinkering so I decided to poke around a little without voiding any kind of warranty of course and I would not recommend what I am about to explain to folks to anyone. I powered up the chair without anyone on it and put it into the zero G position so I could access the under side of the front of the chair. I had it running so I could find the short. I removed the access panel from the front of the chair. There are 6 little screws and was easy to do. With this removed you can see the wires and hoses coming in from the foot rest. I identified the power wire from the footrest and found were it clipped together with the main wire from the base. It was connected already but disconnected and reconnected it to see if this changed anything, nope the rollers still didn’t work. I then took the hose/wire bundle and moved it around to see if there was short and low and behold the rollers would go on and off intermittently depending on how I moved the bundle. I then followed the wires down to a small cut out in the main power unit housing where the wires came together and entered the housing. I noticed that the opening was slightly too small and one wire was pinched under the housing edge. When I tried to free this one wire the rollers would turn off and on. Found the problem. To fix this I took a pair of needle nose pliers and broke of a very small piece of plastic at that hole to make the hole big enough to un-pinch that wire. With that done, the rollers have worked flawlessly. I reattached the access panel and the chair is working perfectly. I did notify customer service about the roller issue before I figured it out and they got back to me this morning with a very nice and informative response asking me to double check the connector behind the access panel as it may have come lose during transport and if this wasn’t the problem to please let them now so we could do something else to try and fix the problem.Bottom line, this is a great chair. The issues (other than the pinched wire) are more due to our body type and size, not the chair. We are able to adjust ours and the chairs tilt position and add pillows to make the massage experience more comfortable. This experience will help us when choosing a more expensive chair in the near future that will auto adjust to our body type. I would recommend this chair to anyone who wants to get into one of these as inexpensively as possible. If you want a chair that adjusts then I would recommend one with the rollers that slide up and down your back, not fixed rollers like this chair has. I hope this helps with your decision making!

I’m a large (350+lbs) and tall (6’3″) guy so there are few chairs that fit me. This one is comfortable to sit in and the leg extension means the leg/calf/foot part actually works for me. Unfortunately, the neck part is to low to work the back of my head and to high to hit the top of my shoulders so it does nothing. I also cannot get my arms into the arm slots. The previous chair I had provided far more massage pressure to the mid and lower back. If you want relaxing, this chair does it. If you want to work knots out of your back muscles, this helps, but more power/pressure would be better. The controller isn’t all that intuitive but does its job. I wish there was an explicit time button to adjust the duration of the massage. The beep the controller makes when selecting things is very annoying. I wish I could turn it off. The pocket for the controller is functional, but it should be weighted so it stays in position and it should be a bit larger so it doesn’t catch on the controller when you try to pull the controller out. I also wish I could configure how upright I’d like to be (I often watch TV while in the chair) and I need to sit the chair back up because it always tips it part way back. Having the ability to save my own “manual” massage settings would be very nice. The frame is very sturdy and the materials look high quality. It feels as well put together as far more expensive units.

This is ok but could potentially be great with a couple of improvements. I really like all of the intermittent compression airbags and they seem to work well. The zero gravity function is nice as well as the foot massage rollers. Heat function is fair. The 2 issues I have with the chair are the controller and the rollers. The controller should be backlit and offer the option to remove certain areas of the massage in the auto modes. These are minor frustrations and I can deal with the current configuration. The back and waist rollers on the other hand are a real problem. Both are positioned too low. The back/neck rollers do not get to the traps and neck and are recessed to far into the chair to be very effective. The waist/low back rollers are essentially unusable as they cause pain and bruising over the pelvic bones because they are far too low (regardless of your height). Every family member or friend who has tried this chair have had the same complaint. This would be best addressed by having the ability to adjust each set of rollers up or down and ideally the roller depth. I am not completely dissatisfied with this product but as I was already spending a significant amount of money I would have spent a little more and purchased a different product if I had known about the roller issues. With the current roller position I would not purchase this massage chair again.

I had been wanting to get a massage chair for my elderly parents but anything I saw at Brookstone or elsewhere was several thousands of dollars. Fortunately, a friend of mine had this one so I was able to try it out and verify its quality before I purchased it. This is well worth it for the price, especially compared to the ridiculously expensive ones.Just a couple of notes that I think other reviews cover already:1) The package is quite heavy, so have a plan for getting it to the room you want to place the chair. I didn’t have to take it up or down any stairs, so I was able to drag it myself through the garage.2) When assembling the chair, prior to attaching the sides, make sure the back is fully reclined. There’s like a small latch between the seat back and the seat bottom that needs to click into place before the side pieces will line up to screw in.If you’re considering purchasing this, I would highly recommend it!

I’ve sat in other chairs 2x the cost with more features and while they were very plush it was hard to feel the rollers. This chair delivered all the massage features essential to get the job done. Assembly was extremely easy, the longest part being the two screws for the armrests, but after unpacking it took under 20 mins by myself to have this chair plugged in and working. The shipping box was damaged (ships in 2 boxes), but no damage to the chair was present, I took pictures and informed the company and received a quick response and some compensation which was not expected, but very nice.Quite frankly I did not want to get out of the chair, I’m 5’2 and about 170 and it fit well. I felt so good after about 40 mins it was time to go to sleep (not in the chair) and I woke up feeling great! This chair is well worth the purchase, you can adjust the hardness of the rollers and airbags (although no the positioning) and pretty much everything was in the right spots.I should have bought one of these years ago!

Overall, this has been a great relaxation chair and an OK massage chair. The chair arrived in two boxes on two different days. The only tracking information was for the larger box which arrived second. Assembly was easy, although the directions don’t match the actual chair 100%. For starters, the first step is to unfold the chair and click it into place. I did this accidentally when I took it out of the box, but it closed on the remote cord! I was able to find the release, and thankfully the cord wasn’t damaged. The other issue is that it shows screws and a screwdriver being used to secure the chair, when in fact it was allen bolts and an allen wrench. The chair made it difficult to turn the allen wrench more than a little at a time. Do yourself a favor and buy or borrow an allen wrench bit so that you can drive it with a bit screwdriver or an electric screwdriver/drill.My first few times on the chair were somewhat disappointing. I’m 5’11”, and when I sat in the chair normally I could feel some rollers firmly on my lower back and some very lightly on my neck. My wife pointed out that I could remove the pad behind my back, and that made the back massage go from 2 to 4 stars for me. I love the airbags; they really seem to help with relaxation. So far I’m nearly 100% on falling asleep in the zero-g position, making this an excellent place to relax. I come home after international travel and am awake at weird hours the first few days home. This chair is quiet enough that I can use it about 10 feet from my wife’s head without waking her while she’s using a phone white noise machine. The built-in Bluetooth speaker connects quickly and is a nice addition when nobody else is trying to sleep in the room. I have some massage-type music on my phone that puts me in the perfect mood to pass out during the cycle. My biggest gripe is the lack of backlit buttons. There’s an easy-to-read tft screen, but without a flashlight the buttons are impossible to read in a dim room. I’m starting to get a feel for the main ones I use, but either leave the lights on or bring a flashlight if you want to program a custom cycle. I’m also not a fan of the auto relax program starting by itself every time I turn on the chair. I’d prefer it to let me select a program and then start, but that’s admittedly a very minor complaint. In summary, I’m glad I got this chair, and I think it will get used a lot.

My massage chair of 19 years stopped working and couldn’t find repair/parts — Found this one much cheaper. It’s is sufficient but the upper shoulders and neck area doesn’t even touch my neck or shoulders at all.You have very limited control with the controller as well. You get what you pay for here —— I think this unit is most likely fine for most people who are sensitive like my wife but I need the strong deep tissue working portion to work solid ———– It does not —– I will say the reflexology foot massage works great but part of getting a massage is for sure the upper shoulders and neck area and this machine doesn’t do that and with out being able to work the rollers manually it’s a large disappointment. If your serious about a purchase of a massage chair then the $2000 plus chairs will most likely do better. I new I was taking a gamble with out being able to sit in the chair to test it out and I paid the price. Bad design — I’ll most likely give this chair to the wife to use which will be perfect for her sensitive muscles and when we are in a area that has these chairs to test, I’ll test before purchasing. The chair is made and looks great but when it comes to an actual massage it doesn’t pull its weight for me.The lower back portion I will want to test out prior to purchasing one in the future so I can verify that it actually does a good massage so the rollers can do what it’s suppose to do.Again this might be fine for people who are not 6 foot or taller. There is very limited control with the controller.

If you’ve missed getting massages during Covid, look no further! This is amazing for the price! It arrived earlier than expected. Both boxes arrived at the same time and it assembled in minutes! It never occurred to me to purchase something like this but for the price of a typical massage these days, this thing will pay for itself in just 10 uses with the money I’m saving. I agree with other posters that there could me more cushioning on the back and there is too much cushioning on top so you really don’t feel anything on your shoulders. So the top pad that attaches as a headrest…I just took that off (it attaches by velcro) and put it on my lower back area and it helps a lot. I love that this chair has a heat option and bluetooth for listening to tunes. Zero Gravity is the way to go!

Good for what you pay for! Arrived in two boxes at two different times but realrelax was very responsive and provided both tracking numbers. It was extremely easy to assemble as the main unit was one large piece and we just needed to attached the two arms. The massage is better than expected and very relaxing. The upper body could be a bit stronger but the lower back is strong and intense. The whole chair is very compact and not bulky at all. It looks great in my bedroom. I plan to use this everyday!Update: This chair will work better for a bigger/taller person. I’m 5’4 so the air bags for the shoulders don’t really help me at all and the air bags in the arms are a bit weak due to me smaller frame. It works very well for my husband

After using the massage chair for a week, I have to say this chair is amazing! It is one of the best things I have ever purchased. My only regret is waiting so long to buy it. It exceeded my expectations. I have fibromyalgia and after using it for 15 minutes I feel like a new person. It’s great for relieving sore muscles and improving circulation. My favorite settings are Stretch and Sleep. I have used the Sleep setting ever night before bed and I drift off to sleep almost instantly when my head hits my pillow. My husband and son love it too and use it several times a day.My husband and I have wanted a nice massage chair for years. After lots of research, we decided to purchase the Real Relax 2020 Massage Chair. It had everything we were looking for including the foot rollers, heat, and zero gravity options. It comes with six pre-programmed settings: Relax, Sport, Neck, Waist, Stretch, and Sleep. It is the best massage chair in this price range that we could find.Shipping was great. It arrived early, in two large boxes. Set up was fairly easy. My husband assembled it in about twenty minutes. We all love this chair and I’m starting to think one is not enough

I was surprised it was so easy to put it together with my son, we all tried it on and fell in love with it immediately. This was a Father’s Day gift from my kids. I have tried many different chairs from other companies, and this is surely the best chair for the prices,. I now sit on it many times a day and fall asleep before the chair stops massaging ( 15 minutes). Thanks!

I wanted to wait about a month before reviewing this chair. After an injury, I was diagnosed with RSD, (a form of chronic pain syndrome). Compression really helps control the pain and swelling. I really wanted a massage chair with all the bells and whistles, but they were way out of my price range. I opted to bite the bullet and try this chair and oh what a surprise! Sure it doesn’t have all the programmable settings as the $2500 chairs, but this chair gives you some control over what it can do. Unfortunately, there is no instruction booklet to show all the remote controls, but I just played around with them for a while to see what they could do. I put this chair together in about 45 minutes, by myself. Super simple, slipping parts in place and 4 screws. I use it at least 2x per day and have had no mechanical issues at all. Super quiet when running. It doesn’t interrupt my television volume at all. The lower back massage rollers are kind of strong on my back when the chair is fully reclined, but I fixed that by slipping a 1″ cushion between the back mat and rollers. However you can just turn them off at the lower back level if it’s too much. I am 5’8″ and fit perfectly in this chair. My son who is 6’3″ is a little tall for this chair as the foot portion didn’t push far enough down for him, but he still enjoys the benefits from it. 6’1″ would probably be the tallest for a perfect fit. So for my money, it was really worth the bill!

I am 6′ 1″ tall with long legs and a shorter torso. The machine kind of ignores my calves. Even with the variable foot rest extensions (5″), it is not enough. The air bags only reach half of the calves, so it becomes more of a pinch. It is not uncomfortable it is just not comfortable. That being said, I purchased this for the back massage, and that is where it shines. I have to put a small throw pillow at the small of my back because that area is sensitive. When I do that everything is great. The neck massage reaches all the way to my lower skull and the machine goes well into the lumbar area. The air bags are just a bonus for me.
