Nora Hale edits Hiewigo's guides to sofas and seating, lighting, wall decor, storage and patio furniture, with an eye on measurements and fit. Every recommendation is built from manufacturer specifications, long-run price history and the patterns in what verified owners report after months of use, including the complaints. How the guides are made

Specifications come from manufacturers' listings, price context from long-run price history, and owner experience from the patterns across thousands of verified reviews. We don't claim to have tested products we haven't. The full method is on How we research.
