Mr. DMC –
I ordered several massage items to figure out which worked best for me, so far 5 in total.in short, this massager:* 5 stars for build quality* 3 stars for massage capability (back 5, neck 3, vibration 3)I’m giving 3.5 stars, rounded down to 3this chair massager is really well constructed. I liked the cover on both the neck area and on the back area. I supposed these are used to 1. have a washable surface 2. cut down on the massage effect for those who like it more gentle. I was pleasantly surprised in the amount of functionality inside of the chair / remote.NECK: I was most interested in the neck portion, however that let me down. I did like that the massager themselves adjusted up/down (either to adjust for different heights, or give more pressure). however the motion of the neck massage itself didn’t impress me.BACK: I think this massager is great for the back. I liked the ability to choose a straight up-down motion as well as the circular motion commonly found on massagers. when using up-down motion, the rollers have two width adjustments (wide & narrow). pretty cool.VIBRATION: there are two strength levels to choose from. I liked the idea of the vibration, but I wasn’t really strong enough for me.I’m sending this back and keeping some of the other massagers which worked better for what I was looking for.if you’re curious about which item was my favorite, it was this massager from Keenray. a friend of mine was at my place during the testing, and he ended up buying one of them as well

My last chair massager bit the dust so I did my research and decided on this item. What an upgrade. The adjustable neck massager allows me to get it working in just the right spots. I will say to use the neck part you might want to leave the back massager on the lower back setting. Whenever the neck part is moving to the bottom of its cycle (the base of my neck) the back massager would be at its top and pushing me away from the neck part. That’s a minor inconvenience. I’m 6’ tall and the back part does a good job although I’d like it to move just a titch higher at times. My wife prefers the rolling massage and I like the Shiatsu best. This is def a keeper and something I use on a regular basis. The heat is just right as is the vibration aspect.

It’s working very well, when I read the user instruction I got the feelings that it should be used only for 15 min at a time, but no, I used it 45 min back to back and still worked. One thing though is that you need to be very careful as not to put your winter weight on it while using it as it won’t stop and will continue to roll but you will feel the deep hard massage pain the next day;) the 4star is become of that, as I thought when I play game and can’t pay attention to my sitting while fully occupied by game, it will adjust to my body pressure, but it didn’t and I felt the pain the next day. The company kind of try to make me to give a review before they can send a pillow, which oli refud but finally after using the stuff I am wetting this review while already received the pillow…. I didn’t let them to play me, some other reviews may understand what I mean, so I didn’t follow them until I felt like writing this after all the deals including promotion pillow was sent.

overall I am glad I bought this, it certainly feels great and relieves pain. here are the downfalls- the height adjustment is not what its cracked up to be, i am 5’6″ and even adjusting the height to its lowest, the neck massage is too high, its more like a base of your skull massage. the biggest design flaw is that it stops at the bottom of your shoulder blades, even when set on upper back. due to the gap between the back and neck rollers- the entire area from your shoulder blades up to your shoulders has no massage, you have to scoot far down and position yourself partially laying to get that area. and if you want the sacrum area of the lower back you’ll possibly have to sit on a cushion or pillow to be raised up enough for it to reach because it also doesnt come down on the lower back far enough. the massage feels great, but youre gonna have to conform to get it on all areas, but all in all i think its wonderful.

This massager is AMAZING!!! I purchased this bc I love getting massages, and due to Covid, I had to find another source. This is it! The range of motion, and intensity is just right for me. I don’t like deep tissue massage, but I do want to effectively get the knots out, and this does just that. I’m 5’8.5, and about 125lbs, and all of the massagers hit me in just the right spot, except for the neck portion. It’s a little too high, and tends to massage more of my lower head than neck. I use this on top of a wrought iron chair from my kitchen with a somewhat high back. Maybe if it were higher, it would position the neck massager better? Overall, I’m pleased, and would recommend. Easy to store in my closet too!

My back muscles get so tense and tight it causes pain all through my body. I can sit on this in the evening watching tv and I feel so much better. It really runs the tension out of the muscles. You can adjust the position or the neck quite a bit too. So if you are shorter or taller. You can set the back to a certain section as well. I prefer the shiatsu setting which is a swirling. I am really glad I got this. I would have never thought it would help like it does. The seat vibrates as well but honestly I dont use that setting and there is heat too. I liked it so much I bought one for my parents.

I had read reviews and knew that I’d need a pillow (I’m 5’0″). I require two pillows, which makes the lower back massage area REALLY low. However, I LOVE this device – addicted after only three days! Well worth every dollar. It really helps loosen my sore neck and upper back muscles at a tiny fraction of massage or chiropractor fees, and it’s quiet. It would be nice if it came in three sizes: Short, Medium, and Tall, but I didn’t ding it a star for that. The main improvement I’d like to see is a backlit control panel. I like to operate it in a dark room for maximum relaxation, and I can’t adjust the settings mid-massage without a flashlight.

I first saw a shiatsu massager at my friend’s house and felt excited when trying it. I was about to buy the same one which costs much more. Luckily I found this product with a lower price but with the same functionality (also with an extra of seat vibration). The massage process does help me feel relax and soften my back muscles. I mainly use the shiatsu feature since it gives me the most pleasant experience. The only thing I wish this massager had was the tensity level. However, I’m still happy when using this product.Highly recommend for people who need an alternative for massage chair!

This massager is a chair-top model with rollers for the back and neck and vibration in the seat. The rollers are effective with settings for full, upper, and lower back, as well as a spot setting that can be moved up or down with the remote control. The neck is also moveable manually and both the back and seat have the option of added heat. The device runs on a timer, selectable times of 5, 10 or 15 minutes. If I could improve the massager, I would have the rollers go farther up my back. I’m under 6′, but they go just an inch above my shoulder blades. The vibration on the seat is pretty weak, without much massage effect. My last nitpick, is the flap that covers the back (for a gentler massage effect by the rollers) is attached with a velcro strip that doesn’t adhere well. It always pulls off when I sit down. All in all though, I am happy with this massager. I have it fixed to my office chair with the supplied elastic bands and use it throughout the day. I recommend it, especially for a fraction of the cost of a massage chair.

Just what I was looking for !I use this several times a week. After sitting all day for work or stiff from exercise this really has the power to get my back muscles to loosen up.Most products only vibrate or have weak motors that do nothing for real stiff large back muscles. My neck has been a problem for years. My fiance says my neck is so stiff it hurts her fingers to massage it.This works great. Add the heat and I can finally relax anytime I need it.

This was an impulse purchase because with the current covid situation I’m unable to get to my usual place for a back/neck/shoulder massage. I don’t think anything can truly replace hands-on, but this is definitely doing the trick in the meantime. I hadn’t thought I cared about the “heat” option, but it’s actually proven to be a nice addition. I also like the option to switch between the shiatsu movement and a regular “rolling” motion, although I mostly go with the shiatsu version. The only slight con I can offer is that I wish the upper and full back settings brought the rollers up a little higher on my back. I’m 5′ 8″ and they stop just below or barely on the bottom edge of my shoulder blades. And the neck massage rollers which are controlled separately are a little to high for me and hit the lower back of my head unless I sit on a pillow so that they make contact with the juncture of my shoulders/lower neck. So I do agree with what I think another review here said, that as far as the neck massage feature this is better suited for people who are a bit taller. Although if you’re shorter than I am, the back massager would probably reach higher on your back, which would be a plus. But overall I’m quite happy with it!

Description of the deviceThis device operates by using plastic, semi-spherical massage heads to rub both back and neck. There are four massage heads for the back that can move vertically along the axis of the spine in either a shiatsu motion (4 heads) or rolling motion (2 heads). Additionally, the back massage heads can be commanded to a particular spot on the axis of motion in the shiatsu mode. There is approximately 10″ of travel for the back massage heads. There are four massage heads on the neck that can move clockwise or counter-clockwise and–similar to the back massage heads–can move along a vertical axis. There is also a vibration feature on the base of the massage chair. Heat can also be applied to both back and neck areas. The chair plugs into a standard home electrical socket. The chair comes with a pad that can be Velcro-ed to the back to reduce the intensity of the back massage heads.AnalysisThe approximate length from the seat of the massage chair to the lowest setting of the neck massage heads is 21″. The neck massage heads have approximately 4″ of travel in the vertical direction. Using anthropomorphic data tables of US Adult Civilians, 20-60 years of age, data from 1989, the neck feature would hit the trapezius muscle group for approximately the 15th percentile to 95th percentile male and 50th percentile to over 95th percentile female. Those outside this group should consider a massage chair without the neck functionality and simply purchase a separate massage pillow for the neck.RecommendationThis is an excellent massage chair that is equivalent to much more expensive alternatives.

The product is so-so. It has stiff construction so you can place it on low back chair, but does work best on office chair. You can also lay this on bed or carpet and lay on it, but not sure if design can take a heavy weight. The neck massage is quite good, but does not get lower neck. The problem is this product does not massage upper back. The back portion stops below the shoulder blades. I really needed a product to work from shoulder blades up to the lower neck. Not what I was looking for, still ok product but there are other options.

I got this because I was having a lot of back muscle spasms after back surgery. It has been a tremendous help, eliminated the spasms and the massage is important to keep the blood circulating thus helping in healing, in my opinion. I’m a big fan of the Shiatsu massage, it feels like real hand massage, especially in the neck area. Has a timer and heat if wanted. It’s worth the price just for the better health and healing. All around great features, and it was easy to unpack, I had to have assistance because or a weight limit due to the surgery but my 10 year old grandson, easily opened and set it up for me. I’ll update in 6 months and then a year.

My friend bought one of these for our Family Health Clinic break room as the staff are often stressed and very tense. After trying it for one 10-min session, I purchased the same one for my recliner at home, because it worked SO well for me. My traps and neck are always tense, and I used the shiatsu (full body) setting and neck massager with heat, and felt so relaxed afterward!**I feel like it did better in a fairly upright chair vs recliner. My friend used it in a fairly cheap chair from Momax (like a basic Ikea chair) with ottoman and it worked great in that as most of your upper body weight isnt on top of the back massager as it is in a recliner.10/10 would recommend. Worth every penny!

I bought this for my sister who experiences constant lower back pain. After several times using it during the first day, she was back to walking normally and not moaning in pain with every step! So of course I decided to try it on my neck that was damaged in the military and is always aching, sometimes so much I can’t turn my head. It felt SO GOOD!!!! And at the same time it took away a pain I was having under my right shoulder. I’m going to be buying another for myself! The only complaint I have is that it’s too tall and in order to hit my neck properly, I have to put a poofy outdoor chair cushion under the seat part. But that works, so all is good.

Hits all of my pressure points. Working on the knotted muscles. I absolutely love this product. Definitely recommend. Comfortable and not painful at all. A must have!

The Massager arrived with no damage and required no assembly or real set-up before use. Once unboxed you just set the massage chair on a stable chair, plug in the power adapter into and outlet, the other end into the massager cord, and you are ready to go.Note: I tried both of my massagers on various surfaces including a couch and a recliner chair, but prefer the solid surface of a solid high-back chair. Unlike my other massager, the massager has two elastic seat straps that help keep the massager in place. If you do not have a high-back chair, you can often find very nice and inexpensive high-back chairs at thrift stores.Once set up there are several massage options, many of which can be used separately or all at once.1) Shiatsu Neck and Shoulder Massage (Heat On/Off – 5, 10, 15 Minute Timer)• In this mode, 4 massage nodes rotate clockwise or counterclockwise, with or without heat. The height of the neck and shoulder massage nodes can be adjusted up or down using the remote, which is a handy feature if more than one person is going to be using this massager.• I am a little under 5’ 10” and was able to adjust the massage nodes to for me perfectly. Two friends of mine, one 5’ 2” tall and the other 5’ 5” tall, also had no problem in adjusting the neck and shoulder massage nodes to fit them. (If you are on the shorter side, you could also use a pillow on the seat.)2) Shiatsu Back Massage (Heat On/Off – 5, 10, 15 Minute Timer)• This mode is used for the back, with 4 adjustable and heated massage nodes that can be set to 4 modes.• Full Back: The massage nodes travel up and down the full length of your back.• Upper Back: The massage nodes concentrate on your upper back.• Lower Back: The massage modes concentrate on your lower back.• Spot: In this mode you use can adjust the massage nodes up or down to an exact area.3) Rolling Back Massage (Heat On/Off – 5, 10, 15 Minute Timer)• This mode works exactly like the Shiatsu Massage mode (minus the “Spot mode) however instead of Shiatsu circular node patterns the massage nodes travel simply travel up and down.4) Seat Vibration (2 Levels)• This mode causes the seat to vibrate (low or high); there is no heat option in this mode.So do you get a decent massage from this Massager? I say yes, definitely. I use the back massager primarily in the Shiatsu/Heated mode adjusting the massage nodes to either travel my back fully or adjusting it to the areas that need it most.I also really like the neck and shoulder massager as I can easily adjust the height to get the massage nodes exactly as I need them. I find that using both the back and the neck/shoulder massager modes at the same time to be relaxing. If I want a deeper massage, I will use either mode separately. As for the vibrating seat, I sometimes use this option. It is merely a vibrating sensation that some may or may not like. When done using the massager I simply unplug it, fold the bottom seat portion up, and store it in the closet. In conclusion, don’t expect the Massager to provide the same massage as a huge and expensive massage chair. However, for the price and compact size I feel it provides a pretty thorough (and relaxing) massage.I will update this review if I encounter any issues.

I tried a similar product set up at Kohls, loved it and nearly fell asleep in the store! It cost $200 so I immediately went to Google and found this product at a lower price with great reviews and took a chance. OMG, it is so relaxing, even though it really kneads the heck out of the spine and neck in shiatsu mode. It takes me a couple minutes to stand up because I feel spacey even after only 10 minutes.I’m 5’5″ and have to sit on a pillow for it to really work my entire back and I have to use the arrows on the neck control to lower the action to my shoulders. But it does the job! The heat is very mild and at first I thought it wasn’t working. It’s just not as hot as a heating pad. This is one of my favorite buys of 2019. Treat yourself or a loved one to this massage unit – especially for the holidays when there’s so much stress.

What a relief! The shiatsu neck & back massager is a very functional device. I personally like the customization of the massage , from adding heat to shiatsu or just a roll on the lower or upper back. You have to ability to massage the back and neck at the same time. When I come home from work, I usually have an achy back and stiff neck from working in an office. The nice thing is it can be set in 5,10,15 minute and is very light to carry around. Would recommend.

The chair is really good for it’s price. It’s compact and moves around easily. The chair has adjustable setting you can control and has a heating option also. If you don’t want that, you can isolate just the back or neck. I love it especially after a day at work .on top of all these great features, it is so convenient to move from place to place . So I also use it in my car since I have long commute daily and it helps me charge up and ease my mind before I go to work.

I use this for about 15 minutes before I go to bed and I sleep better for it. The shiatsu massage is strong, which I like, but you can lean more lightly against it if you want it to be less strong. The neck massage is terrific, too. My only wish is that it went up higher on the back but when I want to do very high up I slide down a bit and it works fine. When I want it to go a bit lower, I put a cushion on the seat. I don’t think the vibrating seat is very impressive, nor is the heat function, but the back and neck massage was primarily what I got this for and I have no complaints about that! If you do the shiatsu for about 10 minutes and then do the rolling for 5, it’s heaven! I highly recommend it.

I am an over 20 year IT professional. I have very serve chronicle neck and back pain. My company has this very fancy massage chair i sat once or twice a week to relax my back and neck muscle. But I want to have one at home to do the same. However, I don’t want to spend thousands on a massage chair, also I don’t have space for bulky chair. I searched over many massages, and decided to buy one that comes with remote control, can put on a chair or lay flat in bed. It can massage my neck and back. after reading many product descriptions, and reviews, I decided to buy this one. The one problem I read about this product is it is for tall people. but given the price, I took the chance. I am SO glad I did. It did the same job as my company fancy massage chair did. One time, I was sick. I put it my bed, and fell into sleep right after this machine started. You do need a chair that is a little deep. I put it on my dinning room chair. the Neck roller can be adjusted (up or down) depends on your heights. there are no levels settings regarding how much strength. But it is right amount for me! I have introduced it to many of my coworkers! best purchase of 2019!

I was looking to replace an iJoy massage chair that I’ve had for years – an excellent deep massage chair with four types of massage, so a tall order. This Sbiatsu fits the bill nicely. It doesn’t go quite as low nor quite as high as I’d like. I scoot down or pull it up higher to fix that, but I can’t get the top of my shoulders or my very lower back. The shiatsu massage, though, is very deep and can get that spot under my scapula nicely. The neck massage ends up being partial head massage, too, so if you’re not using it, you’ll need a pillow to get those lumps off your head. I had high hopes for the seat vibration, but it’s just glitter. I’d buy it again, though, and recommend it to friends. It does an excellent job getting out those persistent knots.

Blew my knee skiing and am relying on hobbling around with a knee brace and crutches. Unfortunately, my back is taking the brunt of my knee injury, and the pain in my back is worse than the knee! I read the reviews and took the plunge. The product is great. Our household of 7 people will all benefit from its presence!A few things to note- The neck does adjust up and down, but if you are very short or very tall, the neck function may not fit you. I’m 5’6″ and both the back and neck function work well. You can operate them independently. The massager also had a heat and vibrator function. The back mechanism will do shiatsu or rolling. It works in an up and down motion or as a spot function. I thought there were multiple rollers on the back, but there is just one pair that moves. In the few days I’ve had it, it has worked amazingly well to work out the knot in my back. My husband has dodged hours of having to massage my back each night, I won’t have to spend $$ on going to a massage therapist!

My husband got a massage chair for himself, after he used it and recommanded to me, we got our second one with additional neck spa function. The heating Neck massage is so comfortable that my husband would sit on my chair and enjoy his head spa to release the stress and intenseness.I am totally in love with this massage pad, because of it’s lightweight and I can put it on my computer chair or sofa whenever is needed.I recommanded it to my friends and they all love the massage chair for its reasonable price and space saving concept.

First time buying a hands-free massage device. The product is great for neck and back massage that includes heating option. The shiatsu rotation function applies just enough pressure to relieve tension after returning home from my desk job. Also works great for a back massage after a workout to relieve muscle tightness. My wife also tried the machine, she can’t tolerate too much pain, and at first was afraid to turn on the neck massager, but she thought it was gentle and provided great relief as well.Decent price, hands-free, work as advertised.

So a bit of backstory as to why I got this.I was born and raised out west where we had a lot of playgrounds. It’s where i spent most of my days playing with my friends we would do stupid things and hurt my back and neck a large amount. Well a couple of kids were up to no good and i tried to take a stand and stop it. I got in a little fight and hurt my back pretty bad when falling on a rock. My mom got scared and made me fly down on a long painful flight to my aunt and uncles house. Sadly I could not kick it and they did not bump me to first class. When landing I had to run fast holding heavy bags to get a cab and got in another painful drive. When I got to their house my back was in all sorts of pain. They had a similar massager and I sat in their chair. I relaxed in my kingdom. I knew I was there. It made me feel like a prince so I bought one myself.9/10 wish it was a bit more flexible to take around but it stands up nicely and works out my knots and kinks and the vibration is too notch.

I love this massager but like others have said, getting the neck piece to the right height is difficult. I’m 6’6” 300lbs. Sometimes I use the neck massager for my upper shoulders and sometimes I can get it onto my neck. I find it’s easiest to use laying it on an incline. Are use the couch and stack some pillows on one end of the couch so it’s on about a 45° angle. I have fallen asleep while using it. At times I find it beneficial to layer a towel or two over the massager to make it less strong. This has held up well for me in the first few months. I unfortunately left it at my parents house so they have been getting use of it for the last month. I’m looking forward to Christmas so I can get it back.

After using this for a few days, I can say this is one of the best at-home back and neck massagers I’ve used. Besides being incredibly sleek to operate with easy-to-understand buttons and auto-shut off, it succeeded in releasing a ton of pent-up tension I had in my neck due to stress from quarantine and other factors. I spent several days at a level of happiness I almost didn’t recognize, and finally got some much-needed rest. Two improvements I’d suggest is bit more design around the upper back and also perhaps a ‘reset’ of the rollers to a predetermined position on shut-off. Other than that, I can’t say enough good things about it, I look forward to many more years of amazing stress reduction.

I thought for the money this product would be a little better. It does a decent job, do not get me wrong. However, it’s range of motion is not sufficient for my liking. I feel like I have to get into uncomfortable positions to get it to hit the right places. Sometimes if I lay too hard on the neck rollers they make a popping noise. The heat and vibration are very adequate. Would prefer if it did a little bit of a better job for the money it costs though. I enjoy it for what it is, but would not buy it again.
Beryl Kiphuth –
I bought this massage cushion for my husband due to chronic back problems. We set it up in his favorite chair and when he turned it on he loved it from that moment on. The shiatsu setting IS more firm but he could handle that. He couldn’t thank me enough for getting this for him. If he could have sat with it all day he would have but he followed the directions and only did 15 minutes 3 times a day. It relaxed his back immensely. The timer function is very handy since they recommend only 15 minutes. It would be easy to keep sitting and being massaged. It of course can’t take away the pain completely but the relaxation he got from the massage was soothing. Very happy with the purchase,

I’ve had this massage chair five days now, but it was so easy to setup and unpack and start using within 5 minutes of opening the box. The massage strength is fairly strong, and very comparable to other massage chairs I compared when shopping, but has the option for the fabric panels to control the pressure. The heat on the back and neck is great, very soothing but not too hot, just enough to let you know it’s there. The neck massager is adjustable for your height or where your sore spots are. I haven’t really used the chair vibration, but I wish the seat also had heat. I cannot speak for its durability as I’ve only had it five days, but so far it seems really great. It is not as heavy as other models I tried in store at various retail locations, so it does tend to lean left or right in a softer upholstered armchair. I have not tried it on something more upright like a dining room chair. However, it is very lightweight and portable compared to other models that had a thicker heavier back when I tried them in store. The price point was just right. Compared to the cost of the $300 plus models, this hits the sweet spot with great features for the right price.

This is the BEST chair massage pad that I’ve ever used! It gets deep (without the extra padding insert) so be prepared to be sore when you’re done. Took one star off because I’m tall and petty and I’ve got to really slouch to get my shoulders and upper back in kneading path
Summertime –
Compared to the bulky massage chair that my Mom had, this massage pad is compact and fit on pretty much any chair with a tall straight back. It has pretty much most of the functions that I could find on a thousand dollars massage chair, including neck, back shiatsu, spot and heating functions. I used the two velcro strips to secure the massage pad to one of my one dinning table chairs. It seems like that the rollers inside would first detect your back and adjust the roller positions. For the neck and head rollers, you can easily adjust the roller positions on the remote. I am 5’2” and my husband is 6’ and the rollers positon very well on our necks.Shiatsu function is very comfortable. I use it for 10 mins (timer can be set) before bed, which I think is a really good way to wind down after a long day of work. The package is sturdy and I like it the fact that the head pillow can be detached and washable.
Cindy –
I would definitely recommend this massage chair pad. It has timer each about 5/10/15 minutes for neck massage with heating function. It came with a secured box, to secure the item. However, unboxing and set up was easier than I thought. ( well…I should say not require any tool or installation at all, just put 2 cords together and plug it in the outlet)I asked my husband to try. He didn’t want to try it at beginning, but after he tried the massage chair he immediately fell for it. You can switch massage balls to roll up and down on your neck and back feels really comfortable. I will put it on my nursing chair next time.

Turned my $49 dollar Ikea Pello chair into a full-on massage chair! I opted for this model because it offered shiatsu and rolling back massage. I love that it has both features. The strength of the massage feels great. Shiatsu mode pushes in good and deep, and the rolling massage option makes for a great finish to a total massage. It worked out some kinks in my back after just one 15 minute massage! The range of motion could be improved. I’m 5’8” and if I position it to begin at the low enough to massage the sciatic, it only goes as high enough to reach mid-shoulder blade. If I position so that it begins at the top of my back – at the trapezius- it only goes low enough to reach my lumbar. Another five or six inch track would be ideal. The back and neck are two separate operations. Overall, the unit feels solid and durable. It was a good buy – considering I’d pay almost the same amount for one 20 minute massage at the salon.

I bought this item as a gift to my dad who loved it and uses it frequently. I have also gotten to use it and enjoy the shiatsu (Spelling?) ability of the seat. The only thing I have as constructive feedback is that I’m 5’4″, 5’5″ on a good day and the neck rollers are a little high for me. If I sit comfortable, they’ll be kneading the back of my head and that can hurt sometimes. Using a small pillow under my butt helps but having a pillow conveniently there whenever you get home tired is not always possible. Nonetheless, it gives stress relief and I would definitely buy again as a gift as I am not a huge fan of machine massages.

I am very pleased with my purchase. I am 5’4″ so I did need to sit on a pillow for the lowest setting on the neck module to properly massage my neck, but that does not at all take away from the effects of my massage. I can still feel the seat vibration, even sitting on a pillow. The full back massage feels perfect… not too soft, nor does it hurt. I had previously bought a different brand, which I sent back, because the full back massage was very uncomfortable. With the other brand, the upper back nodules dug into my back, but this massager feels great during upper and lower back massage modes. I especially like the tapping mode. I also felt the back nodules contoured perfectly with my back curvature. The only area that I feel is lacking, is the massager not providing heat to the neck area… and the heat that it does provide to the back really is not hot enough. It definitely could stand to get hotter. Overall, I feel, for the price, this is a great back and neck massager, and I would definitely recommend it.

I had some birthday money to blow, so I thought this would be fun.It is not so much that this is big, it’s not, but the shape of the new office chairs made it difficult to fit on my chair. The newer chairs have backs that curve in, and this requires a straight back chair. Once I switched out my chair, I got much better results. The thing works great, almost as well as the fancy chairs at the mall. The neck is fully adjustable for the size of the person, which is nice. However, it is not the most comfortable thing to sit in when not in use. When the timer goes off, the rollers tend to stop in the middle of my back, I cannot tell if this is by design or just the law of averages, but it would be nice if they returned to the bottom when it shut down. The heat seems to be a little week too, but overall, for the price, totally worth it!!

Review from a female, 5ft 4 inches tall. I think this would be an amazing chair for a taller more stalky male with wide shoulders. The lower back setting goes right up below my shoulder blades and begins about 3 inches above my tailbone. The upper back setting is very painful for me, it hits the middle of my shoulder blades, nowhere near the muscle outside my spine. Even if I sit on a pillow the upper back setting is painful and grinds on my bones. The neck setting is nice! You can adjust it up and down so it is able to hit my neck nicely. When i use the chair now I only leave the lower back and neck setting on.I think this would even be bad for taller females just because of how wide the shoulder massagers are. My male friend sat in it and he even said the upper back setting was painful.I’m happy with the chair simply for the neck massager but would not buy again just because it doesn’t work for me but it would be great for someone built differently.I’ve had it a few months now.

My stylist has a smaller version of this massager that she uses in her chair. She recommended I try it vs purchasing a whole massage chair. I’ve been using it since Monday and I’m truly enjoying it. I’ve had some lower back pain issues and it’s definitely providing some great pain relief. I use it on my office chair since I’m seated throughout most of the work day. I’ve given it only 4 stars because I wish I could turn up the intensity a bit more. However, the vibration works well for me and I like the fact that you can adjust the massager a bit to fit which type of chair you’re using. I’m 5ft3 so that’s important to me. All in all, if you’re considering purchasing a massage chair this is a comfortable and affordable alternative. I’d definitely recommend it!

So this thing has a lot of power and is great for your back and shoulders assuming you can handle the beating! And I can and prefer a true deep tissue massage but it would be nice if there was a little more padding without having to add a towel to use it. Plus, the head and neck massager is nice as an option but its not removeable, only the cover is. So the HUGE downside is that you cannot just sit on the pad and watch tv comfortably while massaging your back. If the head/neck massager is on, you are lolling about like drunk girl or if you turn it off to focus on the back, the shiatsu “balls” dig into your head and neck making resting impossible. I kept starting and stopping it in different positions trying to find a place my neck and head could rest and it isn’t possible. Im recovering from back surgery so I want to use this a lot but cannot find a comfortable position unless I am actively massaging my head and neck too

I spent 30 minutes using this product and tried all sort of settings. When I use it with my Ikea office chair, I noticed the issue some other reviewers had – constantly fighting against it for back massage while the shoulder position is good. It is either not pushing hard enough or pushing me away. So, my first intuition of using this is to have a recline chair. If I can lean back, there is no need to keep pushing myself to the device. So, I switched to a reading bed. Then, the back massage experience improved, but the shoulder massage experience declined. For the entire 30 minutes, I was searching for the perfect position to enjoy both back and shoulder massage together. However, I failed to find one.I really appreciate the shoulder section can adjust up and down and have two modes (Clockwise and anti-clockwise rotation). However, it would be even better to be able to adjust it to be more towards my back. Also, I would love to adjust it to even lower to the current limit so that it can massage between my shoulder and upper back area. The rolling mode is almost good as well if it pushes more forward and rolls harder (given that I was on a reading bed leaning on top of it already). For all experience I have (shoulder/back/rolling), they gave me the same theme – almost good.If you maker can fix all the mentioned problems, it can easily beat the thousands dollar massage chair. If there is a 2.0 which promise fixes the problems, I will definitely give it a try.For now, if you are willing to adjust for the device, go for it. If not, you will be frustrated.

What a nice Massager at a good price for all the features. We could move the seat and back (adjusting them) around to accommodate different heights to get the neck massager to be positioned correctly on each person. You just need to work with it until you find it fits the size of the person. I read a number of people having trouble but we were able to work it from short to tall people. I (woman) liked the neck and shoulder massager the best. It really grabs the neck without hurting. It was a gift for my son at Christmas but everyone had to try it! 🙂 He loves it.

I bought this for my mom and she loved it. Although I probably should have given her the manual after setting it up.Specifically, She sat on it for 3 hours with it on (Said it felt great immediately after). The control, however, has a 15-minute automatic timer. So she had to keep turning it back on every 15 minutes. This is for good reason though as the manual states to not use in excess of 15 minutes with a maximum of 3 times a day with hours in between to let your muscle rest.My mom was painfully sore the next day, but after a few days, she got back on and have been doing 15-minute sessions and has great pain relief. She had a slipped disc and had surgery a while back so she has had back problems for a long time, but this helped out a lot (over the handheld one she had that broke recently). So inadvertently we did an endurance test and it still works great. Also, the manual had lots of advice that make it good to read. The only thing I would change about the product, isn’t the product itself but the manual. If it came in full color with pictures and illustrations I think more people would read it. It does offer a wealth of useful info.Besides that personal experience. Other helpful features that were cool were that the neck massage is adjustable. There are up and down arrows that move it up and down along the pillow. Was totally not expecting that. The remote has a handy pocket on the side. it can strap down to a chair with included stretch straps. Also, it has a hardback.Maybe if you had another massage chair before you would know these things, but I have not so these were all nice features.

I wish the back area offered heat, but it does roll nicely, and the shiatsu part is nice and strong. The heat really isn’t, more of a warming feeling, and you can feel it on the seat, but not really on the neck. And to adjust the back, you have to use a pillow to sit on. I found that if I try and use this on my chaise lounge, the neck rollers are on my head. But if I sit at the desk chair or even on the floor, the neck rollers are on my neck. I’m 5′ 6″ if that helps gives a better idea. The neck rollers are good! You can adjust the placement of the rollers on the neck and back, and I do like that. I start with the rolling action, then move on to the shiatsu motion. I sit almost all day and I’m a seamstress, so my neck and back are always pitched forward. This is super helpful to use daily to keep me feeling refreshed and relaxes my back and neck so I can work the long hours I do and not get fatigued. It’s a good at home tool to use between professional massages, which is good self care for me. All in all, this is a good massage pad, extremely useful, and I’m keeping it and using it.

This product is great, and I think worth the extra $60ish dollars over the competitionsolidly built, great massage function, very satisfied with the product. It does what is says, so don’t be put off by the longer negatives list.the negatives:-neck doesn’t adjust low enough for me really. There is kinda a gap between the neck and back pads so you kinda have to adjust yourself to get the right spot. I’m 5’6″ and this only really happens when I’m leaning back in the chair.-neck heater doesn’t feel as hot as the back one- only a 15 minute max timer timeout.

I bought the Neck and Back Massager to help with some lower back soreness. It has helped tremendously. The Shiatsu action and the warm temperature have helped to relieve the tension and strain I was experiencing. also love the neck massager. The bi-direction rotation on the neck is great for pushing the muscles in just the right way. The seat vibration is an added bonus that I wasn’t expecting to like. But I do. I spend about 15-30 minutes every morning with the massager, while enjoying my coffee. It’s a great start to my day. For anyone who is not sure if this product will make a difference in their well being, Go For It. I was skeptical at first, but now I can’t imagine not having 15-30 minutes of soothing massage every morning.Because nothing is perfect, I have to say that it would have been better if the lower back range went a little lower. The location of my initial soreness and tension was just above my tailbone. This massager, when sitting directly on the pad, doesn’t quite go down far enough. I have to prop myself up a little on a pillow so it hits just the right spot. Other than that, I don’t have any other negative comments about this product.

I used this massage pad almost every day for 2 years. I am still buying another one. I have gone through cheaper pads from other stores in 4 or 5 months and decided to try this one. The first thing to go on all of them is the vertical movement of the massage balls up and down your back, including this one. I wish they would use heavier duty gears. They are all plastic. This one failed in a way that I could position the massage point under no load conditions and then select the “spot” massage feature to stop the vertical movement. I used it that way for the last few months. Eventually the fabric tore, but I used a cover pad they provide and kept using it. Now the massage function gears are also stripped so only the neck massage is working. I like that but it’s not what I bought it for.My lower back is my primary pain area but the rest of my back and neck are also problems. This massager helps my whole back and neck. I am 5′, 8″ and currently 200 pounds (working on that). I guess I push back to hard on these things, but it sure feels good. Most of you will probably get a longer life from it. I gave the vibration a score of 4, but I’m not a fan of vibration. It seems to work fine. The heat works well. You can’t leave that on for multiple massages in a row, it can get hot. Overall this is the best massage pad out of the 4 I have tried. I only have it a score of 4 stars because it didn’t make it the whole 2 years.
